We have been putting the FX6 through its paces over the last 12 months and it is far exceeding our expectations. We now own 3 and would have more if you could find them.
Here is what you need to know.
1. This sucker is smaller but not too small. Its the perfect size and weight for what you are planning on doing with it which is drag it up 20ft into a tree or run through the spring woods chasing turkeys
2. Low light on this camera is never level. It can just about see in the dark. Way better than any other camera we have ever used.
3. S-Cinetone color space that comes on this camera is amazing right out of the camera raw. If you do a good job exposing your shot and get your white balance right the images you get are amazing with very little work needed in post.
4. The built in ND filters are a game changer especially the auto variable ND. It makes life nice Mid Day.
5. The LCD is nice and comes with an awesome little flip out cover.
6. Cache record is now available on it with the new firmware which is a must in most hunting scenarios.
7. 4K 120 is sexy.
CONS:
1. Camera is not cheap
2. Cards are not cheap either. They are about $450 each
3. They next to impossible to find right now (July 2022) They are still on back order.
